-------------- GREETINGS FROM THE CHAIRMAN --------------
Dear members, friends and collaborators, On behalf of the Committee of the Co-Operative Credit Society Periferias Polis Chrysochous, I welcome you to our Web site. The Co-Operative Credit Society Periferias Polis Chrysochous has reached its 78 years of offer and help to our fellow man and our community. All these years it has offered many services to the Cypriot farmer who had a hard and difficult time in his poverty and unfavourable weather conditions, and his exploitation by the merchants and money lenders. The Co-Operative Society has offered and it is still offering its services which aim at the financial growth of its members. The growth of agriculture/livestock farming, the help for home ownership, education, health and the professional rehabilitation of its members is one of our major aims. The success of these objectives is supported by the collaboration and mutualism of its members and to the hard work and methodology of its personnel. I would like to thank them. I would also like to thank the Secretary/Manager and all my colleagues in the committee for the most excellent and productive co-operation in mapping out and making possible the plans of our policy for our company. I would also like to thank the personnel of this company for their devotion to their work and I would like to ask them to continue their efforts with zeal, reaching the peak of their speciality in all fields, because now with our entry into the European Union, we will have more competition and we must readjust with the rest of the commercial banks. Finally, I would like to thank all the members and our customers for their trust and mutual support so that our company will continue to grow. REVOLUTIONARY CHANGE
The developments that are taking place in the
economic and social fields after the integration of
Cyprus in the EU constitute important challenges for
Co-Operative
Credit Institutions. If it is imposed they prove that they can continue their
anthropocentric activity in the new conditions that are created. THE COMPANIES THAT WERE INCORPORATED(MERGED) IN THE REGION OF POLIS CHRYSOCHOYS REMAINED AND FUNCTIONING AS SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES(BRANCHES). |
